Creative Assembly answered my wishes and we will have a sequel to one of my favorite games of all time. They promise to release it in 2013 and to revolutionize the genre by implementing a bigger campaign and a cinematic mode to boast up the realism in the battle field.
The game will have a new graphic engine and new gameplay features and I am sure that they won’t disappoint cause Creative Assembly never let me down in any game. Below you can see the trailer, first images of Rome 2 and two interviews with Jamie Ferguson and James Russel. Besides that….omg…I CAN’T WAIT!!!
With the Alliance Tournament X and all I thought I would make a list with my favorite best looking ships in EvE online. This is not a top based on how efficient the ship is, it is just about pure aesthetics. So put your shields up and your weapons online and let’s go:
10. Scorpion
On number 10 it’s the Caldari battleship known as the Scorpion… which of course looks like a scorpion. Apart from the looks it specializes in electronic warfare and has 8 mid slots.
9. Naglfar
It’s the awesome vertical Minmatar dreadnought which looks pretty awesome. I always thought that this would be the ship the Borgs would pilot in Star Trek…and not that Gelatinous Cube.
8. Moros
Again a dreadnought but this time from the Gallente faction, this great ship has great bonus regarding drone damage and can even surpass the drone DPS of it’s sister ship. Thanatos.
7. Maelstrom
Not only does it look badass with those wings but the battleship Maelstrom is a very versatile ship. Fitting 8 turrets and having enough skill you will be the small raid king in this baby.
6.Hyperion
Not a popular ship due to its price, low speed and fitting capacity but with those four middle vertical engines and that great design surely makes it awesome.
5. Ferox
When I first saw a Ferox battlecruiser was the time it blown me to bits, yet I just stood and looked in marvel at how well designed this ship is.
4. Prophecy
The golden eagle as I like to call it, this ship has a superb design based on an ancient Amarr warship so they say. We used this ship as bait and you can armor tank very nice with it also.
3. Rifter
Hands down looks like a pirate ship, the kind Han Solo would use. It’s a very nice designed ship and also a good combat frigate ship with a very flexible setup.
2. Brutix
The Gallente battlecruiser looks like a standard human empire ship from a science fiction movie. And you know if you see this ship you need to keep as far away from it as you can.
1. Abaddon
My personal favorite, the reason I even started EvE Online as Amarr was because of this battleship. It just looks awesome, the design that emanates the whole Amarrian culture, the gold strips, the pointed front and the pretty lights that mesmerize you. One of the strongest tank and with great damage capabilities this ship is a tool of destruction, you can use it to tank a whole mission without warping out.
